Coaches Checklist
2025 Coaches Checklist
The following items are the responsibility of each coach on the team to ensure completion of. If you have any questions or need help please contact Arnie Pehlke at 715-577-8058.
All of the following must be completed prior to coaching:
- Complete 2025 Coach Registration
- Complete 2025 USA Football Heads Up Certification
- CVYF will reimburse you upon completion of your certification and season coaching duties
- Review CVYF League Rules
- Attend the Annual CVYF League Meeting
- Date/Time TBD at our league building at Weber Fields
- Head coach and assistant coach
- Attend the Tackle/Flag Football Meeting - Date/Time TBD
Season Preparations:
- Schedule to help with equipment fitting and issue - Dates/Times TBD at Weber Fields
- Teams that get equipment from CVYF are required to help with this process
- Teams that provide their own equipment will schedule it on their own
- Identify two team parents - to assist with fundraisers and other non-football team related activities
- CFVYF will help collect information of people interested in assisting
- Submit complete roster (Complete by 8/8/25)

- Download Crossbar app and learn how to use your team’s page to communicate with parents and fellow coaches
- Submit any special scheduling requests to Chad Burger no later than than 8/8/25
- Tackle teams from outside of Chippewa Falls, please have your home game date chosen by this date as well
- Pick up coaching supplies and equipment from Arnie Pehlke
- All must signed out and returned
General Items:
- Check email frequently throughout the season as this will be the preferred method that most league officers will communicate.
- Communicate with parents as often as needed regarding team activities
- Review all CVYF documents provided and ask questions. We want to you to be successful and will do what we can to help you
- Please attend meetings. We rely on your input to help us grow and improve our league.
