Officials & Refs

Thank you for expressing interesting in helping offciating and referee our youth football games. We know that it can be a tough job, but there's also lots of fun being able to be paid to be around the sport of football!

We have youth flag football league and youth tackle football leagues that we need help officiating. If interested, please fill out our Officials & Referees registration form, and a league officer will be in touch!

Ages

Head Officials: Must be certified and at least 18 years of age.

Referees: Must be at least 15 years of age for flag, and 17 years of age for tackle.

When

Tackle: Saturdays (some very occasional Fridays)

Flag: Boys is on Tuesday/Thursday evenings, and Girls Flag is scheduled for Monday evenings.

Games

Games are played at our CVYF complex at Weber Fields complex in Chippewa Falls. Sometimes, our CVYF non-Chippewa Falls teams will host a home game during the season.

Equipment

We can provide each official with a whistle, flag, and shirt/vest.

Pay Rate

Flag Football Ref - $20/game
Tackle Football Head Official (certified) - $50/game
Tackle Football Back Judge Referee - $40/game
Tackle High School Refs - $30/game
